For this assignment, I was tasked with creating a basic web page that functioned as an online menu for a small restaurant. The challenge involved building the page from scratch using HTML and CSS, and I used Adobe Dreamweaver for the coding process.
I chose a simple design to prioritize functionality and styling, ensuring the web page worked seamlessly across various devices, particularly mobile phones. Making the site fully responsive was a key objective.
In addition to coding the site, we were also tasked with designing a logo for the restaurant, which added a creative branding element to the project.
To structure the design process, I created low-fidelity wireframes for each device, incorporating HTML tags, and developed a high-fidelity desktop prototype using Figma. Since the assignment involved a fictional client, I decided to add a playful touch by generating menu images with Midjourney. Using the menu descriptions as prompts, I created visually appealing food imagery that complemented the overall design.
Once the coding was complete, I purchased a domain through One.com and uploaded the website to the web using FTP and FileZilla, finalizing the project.
